Known as the one of the greenest boroughs of London, Ealing has gone through some turbulent times since the pandemic with some iconic establishments, such as Charlotte’s, closing permanently. However, Ealing still offers many unique and fantastic venues for special celebrations such as weddings, anniversaries and birthdays, and there are reinvigorating signs of exciting new openings. There are trendy casual restaurants in West Ealing, finer dining spots around Ealing common, or picturesque gastropubs around Pitshanger, with a spot of late-night music and dance. You can certainly have a good old knees up in Ealing with our delicious cake to make lasting memories.
Maxim - A long-standing Ealing institution, hailed by Alan Yau as one of his favourite Chinese restaurants in London, Maxim serves up high-end Peking cuisine. It has a classically decorated dining room, with white tablecloths, so it’s perfect for mum or dad’s birthdays and anniversaries.
Steak on the Green - Don’t judge the restaurant by its signage font. It may look a tad kiddish, but it’s what’s inside that counts. The interiors are modern - dark-wood paneling, dark green buttoned sofa seating. The menu is serious about steaks but they do have a few other non-steak and vegetarian options, and a whole Halal menu. Great for groups celebrating birthdays.
L’oro di Napoli - A cosy and warm Italian restaurant that’s extremely popular with good reason. It’s a feel good place with authentic pizzas, raved by loads of regulars as some of the best outside of Naples. A fantastic choice for celebrating special occasions with family.
Sidi Bou - Organising a truly memorable occasion is helped by choosing an unusual venue. Sidi Bou is a very cool restaurant specialising in Tunisian cuisine - something that’s not as ubiquitous as other cuisines in London. Its interiors are chic in blue and white. And they also offer private venue space for special celebrations. It is a BYOB venue with corkage charges.
Flame & Fire - With a large function room and a late license, this is one of Ealing’s best party venues. They can help hook you up with musicians, DJs or entertainers for your birthday party, and we’ll hook you up with your birthday cake! The menu is predominantly steak, with a few fish and veggie options.
