Lemon should still taste like lemon.
A good lemon cake should taste bright rather than sugary. We build ours around soft sponge, citrus sharpness and silky Swiss meringue buttercream, then use curd, raspberry, meringue, shortbread or Earl Grey to give each cake its own character.
The result should still taste unmistakably of lemon after the first mouthful.

Yes. Our cakes are made to order and delivered across the London and Surrey areas we serve by our own drivers.
Can I personalise a lemon cake for a birthday?
Yes. You can add a short personalised message to your cake. If you would like to change colours, decoration or other elements of an existing design, use the customisation option on the cake page.
Can I choose lemon sponge on another cake design?
Often, yes. Many of our celebration cakes offer Lemon as a selectable sponge flavour. Choose the design you prefer and check the available sponge choices on its product page.
How far ahead should I order a lemon cake?
Around 48 hours is the normal minimum notice for our standard range. Shorter-notice availability can sometimes be possible, depending on bakery and delivery capacity.
