THE CHRISTENING EDIT
The Christening Collection
A deliberately tighter edit of cakes that genuinely suit the occasion: gentle buttercream, storybook details, florals, ivory finishes and tiered centrepieces.
START WITH THE LOOK
Shop the Christening by Style
Choose the mood first. The details become much easier after that.

Elegant & Ivory
Quiet white and cream buttercream for a more traditional or minimal celebration.

Pastel & Floral
Soft colour, piped flowers and watercolour buttercream for a gentler table.

Storybook & Animal
Childlike without becoming a generic birthday cake. Peter Rabbit leads the way.

Large & Tiered
More height and portions for the reception that has become a proper family gathering.

FROM RESHMI
The cake that began with my son’s Christening.
I first created our Peter Rabbit cake for my son’s Christening. We both loved Beatrix Potter, and I wanted something gentle and storybook-led rather than a cake covered in ceremonial clichés.
The little vegetable garden, blue-sky buttercream and hand-modelled rabbit have stayed because the idea still feels right: childlike, personal and properly celebratory.

ONE COLLECTION, TWO COMMON NAMES
Christening cakes and baptism cakes, made for the day.
Families use both terms, so we keep the cakes together in one collection. Choose ivory and white buttercream, pastels, florals, storybook designs or a tiered cake for a larger reception. Names and dates can personalise selected designs without turning the cake into a catalogue of symbols.
If the day needs something more specific, we can start with an existing cake and customise selected details, or build a bespoke cake around the venue, flowers, invitation and guest count. The important bit is that it still tastes as considered as it looks.
CHRISTENING CAKE DELIVERY
Hand-delivered across London & Surrey.
Every cake is baked to order in our London kitchen and delivered in our own vans rather than through a parcel network. For an event, we recommend having the cake safely with you before guests arrive and, where practical, taking delivery the day before.

HAVE SOMETHING PARTICULAR IN MIND?
A cake built around the celebration.
Tell us the guest count, venue, flowers, invitation and any religious or family detail that matters. We can create something entirely new without forcing every idea onto the cake at once.

Christening Cake Questions
Everything worth deciding before you order.
Are christening cakes and baptism cakes the same thing?+
Families and churches use the terms differently, but for cake ordering the intent is usually the same: a celebration cake for the family gathering following the ceremony. We keep both under one collection.
Can you personalise a christening cake with a name and date?+
Yes. Selected designs can take a short name, date or message. The product page will show the available personalisation options.
Can you change the colours of a christening cake?+
Some designs allow colour changes. A simple option may be available on the product; larger visual changes belong in our custom cake route.
Can you make a cake with a cross or religious decoration?+
Yes, where the design and lead time allow. For a particular symbol, church reference or more developed brief, use our bespoke service.
What size christening cake do I need?+
Start with the number of people you expect to serve. Each product page gives the serving options for that design, from smaller cakes to larger tiered centrepieces.
Do you make two-tier christening cakes?+
Yes. Several tiered cakes can suit a christening or baptism, and a bespoke commission can be designed around a larger guest count.
Can you deliver to the reception venue?+
Yes, where access is practical and the address sits within our London and Surrey delivery area. Make sure someone is available to receive the cake.
How much notice do I need?+
Our standard range normally needs around 48 hours. Bespoke work, figurines and more involved decoration need longer.
What flavours are available?+
Flavours vary by cake and may include vanilla, chocolate, lemon, pistachio and other seasonal or design-specific options. Check the individual product page for the exact choices.
Can you design a completely bespoke christening cake?+
Yes. We can design from a new brief around the venue, flowers, invitations, family details and guest count. More complex work needs more notice than the standard collection.
