A chocolate cherry pistachio cake composed of moist pistachio sponge, tart cherry compote, Belgian chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream and pistachio cream. The sponge is soft, nutty and flavour-rich, layered with cherry compote for brightness and acidity against the smooth depth of chocolate buttercream. Finished with cupcakes, chocolate buttercream swirls, pistachio cream drizzle, crushed pistachios and whole cherries, it brings richness, fruit and nut together in a polished, generous celebration cake.

Chocolate, cherry and pistachio work beautifully because each one sharpens the other: the pistachio sponge brings warmth and nutty depth, the cherry compote cuts through with brightness, and the chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream gives the whole cake its smooth, rounded richness, finished with pistachio cream, crushed pistachios, cherries and chocolate swirls for a cake that feels generous, balanced and just a little bit wicked.

Pistachio Sponge: Wheat flour (gluten), eggs, milk, buttermilk (milk), sunflower/rapeseed oil, sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, pistachios (nuts).

Buttercream: Sugar, egg white, butter (milk), vanilla extract, salt, cocoa.

Decorations:

Cherry Compote: Black cherries, sugar, brown cane sugar, concentrated lemon juice, gelling agent: fruit pectin.

Pistachio Cream: Pistachio (nuts), sugar, milk powder, extra virgin olive oil, vegetable fat, emulsifier: soy lecithin.

Crushed pistachios (nuts).

Glacé Cherries: Cherry (56%), glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, colour (anthocyanins), acidity regulator (citric acid), preservative (sulphur dioxide).

*Although not necessarily present in this particular product, the colours used across our range of products may include E102*, E104, E110, E122 & E129 – which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in some children. All products are produced on premises handling eggs, gluten, nuts, peanuts, milk, sesame, and soya hence may contain traces. Cakes may contain cocktail sticks and dowelling for support.
