Can you make the figurine look like a real person?
We use reference photographs to model recognisable details such as hairstyle, outfit and accessories. Each figure is handmade, so the result is an edible interpretation rather than a photographic replica.
Are the cake figurines edible?
The figurine-led cakes in this collection use edible fondant or sugarpaste modelling. Structural supports can be needed for some designs and should be removed before serving.
What photographs do you need?
Send clear front-facing photographs plus useful side views where possible. Include separate references for clothing, sports kit, accessories or other important details.
Can you copy clothing, hobbies, sports kits or a profession?
Those are exactly the details that make a custom figure personal. What can be reproduced depends on design and scale, so use the chosen product as the starting point.
Can you make children, characters, pets or animals?
We make people, character and animal figures. For an unusual pet, animal or character brief not represented here, use our Custom Cakes route.
How much notice does a figurine cake need?
Please allow at least two weeks. Hand-modelling takes longer than straightforward personalisation or many standard cake designs.
Can I add a name or birthday message as well?
Yes, where the product offers it. A short name, age or message can be added to the wider custom figurine design.
Do you sell the figures separately?
This collection is for complete celebration cakes with edible figurines. Standalone figurines are not listed here.
What's the difference between a personalised, custom and bespoke cake?
Personalised means an existing cake with a simple detail such as a name or message. Custom means an existing design materially adapted to your brief, including a hand-modelled figure. Bespoke is a private commission designed from scratch.
