Oh y'know, no biggie, just our most talked about, renowned, internet-breaking, Instagram-wrecking Horn of the Unicorn Croquembouche making a grand appearance at a beautiful and super cool London wedding. MIC DROP!
This large Horn of the Unicorn croquembouche wedding cake for Ellie and Phil was just over a metre tall, made of chocolate and vanilla sponge layers, smooth Swiss meringue buttercream, dripping with Belgian chocolate ganache and decorated with profiteroles, eclairs, macarons, piped buttercream flowers, Ferrero rocher and "soft serve" mini cones, glazed baked buttermilk doughnuts and candied popcorn. I can't even guess how heavy it as I could barely move it once decorated but husband says well over 20kg! This was a beauty and a beast all in one.
Ellie and Phil's wedding reception at Dock Kitchen near Notting Hill was planned by Always Andri and looked INCREDIBLE, and that's not just down to the croquembouche of course - the flowers and overall decor were really cool too.
Emma Soulsby's real floral arrangements co-ordinated with hanging paper lanterns and these giant paper flowers by Paper Petal & Wild along with Bubblegum Balloon's balloon arch were the perfect styling elements for this cool city chic wedding.
Ellie and Phil also opted to have a dessert table spread with an assortment of our luxe and lovely cupcakes decorated with elements from the croquembouche - mini profiteroles, doughnuts, macarons and candied popcorn, alongside two macaron towers with assorted macarons.
It's always a pleasure working with Andri because I really do know it'll be a gorgeous day.
