How are your macaroons delivered?

All our parcels are delivered by Royal Mail offering a variety of services. Please note our cakes and cupcakes are NOT posted via Royal Mail and are delivered via our in-house delivery service (please see here for more details).

Are macaroons delivered UK wide?

Yes! Macaroons and all other gifts are safely delivered all across Mainland-UK using Royal Mail's reliable Special Delivery Next-Day Guaranteed or First Class services. Please note that Royal Mail offer the Next-Day service for Mainland-UK addresses only. For any addresses outside of Mainland-UK, eg: Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Ireland and Northern Ireland, please contact us for delivery times and quote.

Is next day delivery available?

Yes! Royal Mail deliver our packages from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive (excluding Sunday and public holidays). For the Special Delivery service they guarantee delivery by 13:00 (recommended for macaroons). First Class service aims to deliver within 24 hours but this is not guaranteed and not tracked.

Dispatch schedule: For orders placed before 12:00 we aim to dispatch the same day, if not then the next. Orders placed after 12:00 on Thursday will be dispatched the following Monday (excluding public holidays).

Please note our packages do not fit through standard letterboxes and will require someone to available at the address to accept the delivery. We are unable to assume responsibility for any missed deliveries due to recipient's unavailability.

Are weekend deliveries possible?

Yes! We offer Saturday deliveries via Royal Mail's Saturday Special Delivery Guaranteed which incurs a higher cost, however it is guaranteed to arrive on a Saturday and it is fully trace-able. Should you place an order after Thursday cut-off at 12:00 for next-day delivery, or would like a parcel specifically for a Saturday please select Saturday Special Delivery at check-out. Please note that there are no delivery services offered for Sundays or bank/public holidays. The cut-off for Next-Day Saturday Special Delivery is 12:00 on the day before, ie Friday.

Can I place an order now for delivery on a later date?

Yes! Just pick a date in the date scheduling calendar. Remember to select Saturday delivery if this is required and please note we cannot deliver on Sundays or Mondays.

Will the delivery of macaroons mean they are damaged in the post?

Macaroons are fragile delicacies and we take the utmost care with our macaroons delivery. We package our products using plenty of cushioning and shock absorbing materials and recommend Royal Mail's trusted Special Delivery service where the fragile perishable products spend less time in transit compared to other services. While we have taken all the precautions we can, there is still an unavoidable chance of slight damage. In the rare case of damage, we promise the delicious flavours and textures will be unaffected!

Does someone need to sign for the delivery?

Packages sent through Royal Mail Special Delivery require a signature. First Class Standard service does not require a signature however someone will need to be present to accept the delivery.

It is best to try and provide a delivery address where you expect that somebody will be available to sign for the parcel eg: a work address, between 08:00-18:00.

Help! What if the recipient is out or misses the delivery?

In the event where the recipient is unavailable to receive the parcel Royal Mail may deliver the parcel to a neighbour under their "Leave with Neighbour" policy and should leave a card with details of where the parcel has been delivered but this is at the driver's discretion and does not always happen.

If there are no neighbours available to accept the parcel on the recipient's behalf they will be left a card with details of their local sorting office which can be used to arrange collection or re-delivery.

If someone else is available at the address, eg: a work address or shared premises, they can sign for the goods on the recipient's behalf as the contract is to deliver to the address not the addressee.

While we are unable to accept responsibility for missed deliveries at the destination we will happily assist with re-arranging delivery once we are provided with the missed delivery note details or help trace a parcel using the tracking details.

My parcel has not been delivered yet. How can I track it?

You are able to track or get an update on the parcel based on the type of Royal Mail delivery service you have chosen for the order. Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email confirmation. If you have chosen Royal Mail Special Delivery please do get in touch with us at your earliest convenience and we will provide the tracking number and assist in tracing the parcel.

Royal Mail Special Delivery is guaranteed to be delivered by 1pm the next working day. It offers full traceablity and requires a signature upon delivery. There is also a Special Delivery Saturday service available at a premium.

Royal Mail First Class service aims to (not guaranteed) deliver within 24 hours and does not provide any tracking information. As first class is not a tracked service the reference number will not register in the Royal Mail system and is only provided for proof of postage.

In the unlikely event of the parcel being lost by the courier, as the sender we are responsible for making enquiries into the lost item. Once the courier accepts that a parcel is lost we can process a replacement order or issue a full refund. Royal Mail request that we wait 14 working days for First Class parcels and 3 working days for Special Delivery next day orders before they accept the parcel is lost.

Do you offer delivery outside of mainland-UK or internationally?

Currently we are unable to ship our products internationally. Deliveries to the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Lowlands, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland may be possible - please contact us for arranging a quote.

If your international shipping enquiry is in relation to weddings or events, while we are so sad to not be able to ship internationally for your wedding we have had great success with brides and grooms taking our macaroons, marshmallows and other sweet treats over to beautiful locations from Saint Tropez and Saint Petersburg to India via train/plane and car themselves! We will pack the parcels travel-ready so all you have to do is look after them on your journey.
