Londonist on Anges de Sucre
Londonist featured Anges de Sucre in a London cake guide. This page is the press archive behind that mention and a small record of where some of those cakes ended up. If you are choosing a cake now, the current birthday cake collection is the right place to start.
The feature
A lovely mention, and a good excuse for cake.
Being included by Londonist was a proper pinch-me moment. We had been making celebration cakes for London tables for years, but seeing the bakery recognised in a city guide still felt wonderfully strange.
Mayfair moments
From our kitchen to the grand rooms of London.
Over the years our cakes have travelled to hotels including The Connaught, Hotel Café Royal, Soho House and Ham Yard Hotel. One of our most loved designs, the Pink Sweetheart Cake, was cut in the Mayfair room at The Connaught.

Restaurants and real life
Good cakes travel. Occasionally, so do good stories.
Our movie-buff favourite, Netflix & Chill, once made its way to Cecconi’s. I also spotted Bill Nighy there and did not run over to say hello, mostly because I looked tired and had a wailing baby in tow. Regrets? A few.
Beyond London
From city tables to country estates.
I still love finding out where our cakes end up. They have appeared at city restaurants, family parties and country estates, including a three-tiered Pink Sweetheart Wedding Cake at Goodwood.
