This cake came from wanting to bottle that Swiss Alps feeling: cold air, warm lodges and the dangerous thought that one might simply stay there forever. Since abandoning work for a mountainside cabin was not especially practical, I made the next best thing: a cake that feels like a small edible escape to the snow.
Vanilla Sponge: Wheat flour (gluten), eggs, milk, buttermilk (milk), sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract

Every cake is baked to order in our London kitchen, then hand-delivered by our own team. Complimentary delivery is included across London & Surrey, with live tracking and careful temperature-controlled handling from bakery to doorstep.
Cake Care
Your cake is baked fresh for your chosen date and keeps beautifully for up to five days from delivery. Store it carefully, serve it at room temperature, and the sponge and buttercream will be at their best.
