This not-so-simple dessert features five mouth-watering layers of vanilla sponge in a rainbow of appetizing colors: pink, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Topped with our signature intricately piped vanilla buttercream, this Rainbow Cake is sure to impress. Secure your slice of this rainbow-colored wonder by placing your order online.
We could have designed any-ol' rainbow cake, of course. But we've made our rainbow cake much fancier in typical Anges fashion. It shines like a rainbow!
What sets our rainbow cake apart is that it is so much more than just coloured vanilla sponges. And that's because we've used a not-so-secret-ingredient...BUTTERMILK! The addition of buttermilk lifts it from your basic run-off-the-mill vanilla cake and keeps it moist for days. It gives it a delicious subtle tangy flavour that will make everyone hanker for more!
Decorations
Covered with an elaborate pattern of hand-piped swirls and twirls made from the smoothest ivory vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream.
Cake Sponges
Five layers of vanilla sponges in pretty rainbow colours: pink, yellow, green, blue, and purple. It's seemingly demure and neutral from the outside, but outlandishly and delightfully colourful inside!

Shelf-life - At Anges de Sucre, we believe that fresh is best, which is why our cakes have a short shelf life of just 3 days. However, many people tell us they are good for up to 5 days. It's important to note that some components of the cake may not necessarily stay fresh for as long - for example, the doughnuts will only stay fresh-tasting for a few days.
Storage - If you're not planning to indulge in your cake on the same day, we recommend storing it in the fridge overnight to ensure it stays fresh.
Serving - When the time comes to serve your cake, take it out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature. This typically takes around 3 hours, depending on the temperature of your room. If serve it straight out of the fridge, the cake will be cold and potentially quite hard, and the flavours maybe subdued.
