This Brides Magazine issue has got to be my personal favourite to date - the cover is soooo Anges-ey, all beautiful ducky-eggy-bluey and the Big Day Look Book that our genuine gold leaf embellished macarons have been featured in is oozing with lavish luxe and rugged rough details in a rich colour palette of golds, purples and pale pinks.

While it's quite a way away from the usual pretty-in-pastels and dainty-doilies that are forever popular wedding themes, it cleverly infuses a slight touch of grunge in the grown-up-glamour styling. Makes for an indulgent striking beauteous banquet!

If you'd like to achieve a similar look get going with some rich tonal blooms (move away from the gerberas and gyp), dark cast iron and/or chipped enamel props such as candlesticks and cake stands, distressed mirrors, and deep gold stuff! This is actually such a relevant style for Christmas too (is it too early to think about that?? Naaaar).
