Red velvet is a classic that needs care rather than noise. I wanted this cake to keep that soft cocoa tang and familiar comfort, then make it feel more considered with hand-rolled truffles, a little extra texture and a finish that feels generous without becoming heavy.
Red Velvet Sponge: Flour (wheat, gluten), sugar, egg, milk, buttermilk (milk), yoghurt (milk), sunflower oil, baking powder, cocoa, vanilla extract, salt, colour RED [Glycerol, Propylene, Glycol, Water, E551, Food Colour: E129, E124]
Buttercream: Sugar, egg white, butter (milk), vanilla extract, salt.

Cake Care
Your cake is baked fresh for your chosen date and keeps beautifully for up to five days from delivery. Store it carefully, serve it at room temperature, and the sponge and buttercream will be at their best.
