Deliciously Stella Cake

Back when social media influencers were a little bit cool, I enjoyed a comedian/influencer, Deliciously Stella's, content a lot. She used to poke fun at the over-the-top clean-eating faux health influencers with her content (picture someone lying down with loads of Crunchie chocolate bars and fruit roll-ups on her belly, captioned with "my daily crunches and roll-ups"). In collaboration with her, we created this over-the-top chocolatey feast of a cake. You couldn't cram any more chocolate bars on this cake. It's like an entire corner shop's naughty aisle. On a cake. Since then, while Deliciously Stella has shed her influencing life, this cake is still one of our most popular ones.

Open the box and just the smell of all that chocolate will give you that naughty-aisle excitement you had as a kid. And that's just as a grown-up. Watch the kids lose their minds over it and soak in all that second-hand unbridled joy.

We brought this cake out in 2016, and whilst there are now many imitations elsewhere, the combination of our signature soft and moist vanilla sponge with silky smooth Valrhona cocoa Swiss meringue buttercream strikes the perfect balance between indulgent and not overly sickly-sweet.

This cake is the perfect ice-breaker and doubles up as the entertainer at any kids' (or adult) party—watch everyone rush to grab all the chocolates off the top! If you're after a binge-fest, this is the cake to do it with.
