I cannot resist a good tiramisu at the end of a meal at any Italian restaurant. That little pick-me-up, combining sweet with the bitterness of coffee, is my Achilles' heel. This cake captures the essence of one of my favourite desserts but without the alcohol, making it more inclusive for those who avoid alcohol.

The Tiramisu Coffee Cake gives a sense of indulgence and comfort, like sitting in your favourite café with a perfect cup of coffee. But better, because it's cake.

What makes this cake special are its layers of dark roasted espresso coffee-infused sponge, paired with light Swiss meringue buttercream and a glossy drip of Callebaut Belgian chocolate ganache. The chocolate and hazelnut savoiardi biscuits (perfect to dunk into a cuppa) and macarons are what make it a bit more indulgent.

Perfect for coffee lovers, intimate gatherings, or as a sophisticated dessert for a dinner party. It’s also ideal for anyone who enjoys the finer things in life, especially when coffee is involved! Coffee Sponge: Wheat flour (gluten), eggsmilk, buttermilk (milk), sugar, coffee granules (Soluble Coffee, Roast and Ground Coffee), baking powder, vanilla extract

Buttercream: Sugar, egg white, butter (milk), vanilla extract, salt.

Decorations -

Chocolate drip: dark chocolate [(Min cocoa 54.5%) Sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, emulsifier; soya lecithin, natural vanilla], butter (milk).

Wafer Curls: Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Thiamin, Niacin), Sugar, Rapeseed Oil, Dried Whole Milk, Salt, Emulsifier: Soya Lecithin, Colour: Plain Caramel, Chocolate Flavour Lining: Sugar, Palm Kernel Oil, Fat Reduced Cocoa Powder, Whey Powder (from Milk), Dried Skimmed Milk, Emulsifier: Soya Lecithin, Flavouring.

Savoiardi Fingers: Sugar, Wheat Flour, Pasteurised Whole Egg, Raising Agents (Sodium Bicarbonate, Ammonium Bicarbonate), Flavouring.

Shelf life: All cakes are baked fresh to order. Most keep five days from delivery. Certain elements, such as doughnuts, are best within one to two days.

Storage: Wrap the box in cling film for freshness. Refrigerate if not serving the same day. See our cake storage and shelf life guide.

Serving: Bring the cake to room temperature before serving. Allow about three hours out of the fridge. This ensures a softer texture and fuller flavour.
