MacDaddy's Party Cake

When we first had our little coffee shop in Kensington, we sold exquisite coffee and handmade macarons before customers kept asking, quite sensibly, where the cake was. So this was one of the cakes that helped change everything: soft vanilla sponge, vanilla bean Swiss meringue buttercream, Belgian chocolate glaze, colourful macarons and confetti, all piled together in that very Anges de Sucre way. It still feels like the best of both worlds to me, a proper celebration cake with the crisp almond shells, colour and little luxuries of the macaron counter where we began.

Vanilla Sponge: Wheat flour (gluten), sugar, egg, milk, buttermilk (milk), sunflower oil, baking powder, vanilla extract, salt.

Buttercream: Sugar, Egg White, Butter (milk), Vanilla Extract, Salt.

Chocolate Drip: Dark chocolate (Min cocoa 54.5%) Sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, emulsifier: soya lecithin, natural vanilla, butter (milk).

Sprinkles: Sugar, Wheat Starch, Glucose Syrup, Colours (Curcumin, Chlorophyll), Concentrated Beetroot Juice, Glazing Agent (White and Yellow Beeswax).

All products are produced on premises handling eggs, gluten, nuts, peanuts, milk, sesame and soya hence may contain traces. Please note cakes may contain cocktail sticks and dowelling for support.

Each cake is hand-made individually and carefully and while will look similar to the images, may not be identical.

Our cakes are vegetarian and made in bakeries that handle wheat, gluten, eggs, milk and nuts. We do not offer vegan or gluten-free cakes. Standard delivery is by our own drivers within the London and Surrey areas we serve; further-afield delivery may be arranged in advance. Our bakeries are not customer collection points.
