The Cake Itself

The cake was made as two tiers, 6 inch and 8 inch, with Oreo cookie sponge layers. Blue watercolour buttercream gave the cake softness, while a glossy blue-green ganache drip suggested swamp water without making the whole thing look like lunch for a crocodile.
