A hazelnut chocolate cake composed of Belgian chocolate sponge, Oreo cookies and cream sponge, vanilla sponge, Nutella Swiss meringue buttercream and chocolate ganache. Each layer brings a different texture and flavour: cocoa depth, biscuit crumb, clean vanilla and smooth hazelnut cream. Finished in a semi-naked style with glossy chocolate ganache, Ferrero Rocher ice cream cones, crushed Tonda Gentile hazelnuts, Oreos and white chocolate pearls, it brings together roasted nut, chocolate, cream and crunch in a generous, polished celebration cake.

This was our original viral cake, and I can still see why: Nutella, Ferrero Rocher, Oreos, chocolate, amazing hazelnuts and cream are not shy ingredients. Ferrero Rocher always reminds me of those gold-foil boxes that turn up at Asian family gatherings and are received with genuine excitement, so I wanted this cake to have that same sense of being properly spoilt. It is built with Belgian chocolate sponge, Oreo cookies and cream sponge, vanilla sponge, Nutella Swiss meringue buttercream, chocolate ganache, crushed hazelnuts, Oreos, white chocolate pearls and Ferrero Rocher ice cream cones, giving every slice that lovely mix of soft sponge, roasted hazelnut, chocolate cream and crunch.
