Anges de Sucre creates bespoke cakes for private celebration across London and Surrey, made to order by a Michelin-trained pastry chef and designed around flavour, setting, structure and the people at the heart of the occasion.
A true bespoke cake is not simply a standard design with a name added to it. It begins with the occasion: the room, the guest count, the tone of the celebration, the food being served, the flowers, the mood and the person or people at the centre of it all.
A personalised cake usually starts with an existing design. A name, age, message, colour change or small decoration may be added, while the overall cake remains close to the original.
A bespoke cake is designed around a brief, mood, event setting, guest count, flavour direction, structure and visual language. It is a private commission rather than a catalogue adjustment.
That might mean a milestone birthday dinner where the cake must feel grown-up and theatrical, a wedding at a London hotel, a first birthday with hand-modelled details, a corporate event that needs subtle brand alignment, or a private party where the cake should feel as if it belongs in the room.

Designed for milestone birthdays, intimate dinners and larger celebrations where the cake should feel personal, polished and memorable.
Created around the venue, flowers, guest count, menu and atmosphere of the day, rather than simply matching a picture.
Soft, joyful and carefully portioned cakes for family gatherings, photography and early childhood themes handled with restraint.
Considered cakes for launches, press events, client dinners and brand moments where the design needs to feel intelligent.
Themes interpreted with taste, texture and proportion, avoiding the flat, novelty finish of ordinary character cakes.
Buttercream flowers, soft palettes and layered detail for celebrations that need movement, delicacy and hand-crafted finish.
Fine sugar work for weddings, formal birthdays and elegant events where lasting floral detail matters.
Structured cakes with height, shape or architectural form, planned carefully so the design remains stable and edible.
Children’s themes made with polish, charm and proper cake craft, without turning the table into a plastic toy aisle.
Subtle visual alignment for brands, agencies and event teams who need the cake to feel part of a wider creative direction.
You share the date, location, occasion, portions, design references, flavour preferences and budget range, along with any venue or delivery details we should know early.
Anges de Sucre interprets the brief through setting, palette, mood, flavour and structure, so the cake has a clear point of view rather than a collection of disconnected ideas.
The cake is priced according to scale, labour, detail, ingredients, structural work and delivery requirements. The quotation reflects the work involved, not only the size of the cake.
The cake is made to order, with specialist work such as buttercream flowers, sugar work, hand-piped detail or structural elements planned into the production schedule.
The cake is delivered across London and Surrey by Anges de Sucre’s own team where available, with careful attention to timing, handling and venue access.
Bespoke cakes vary because the work varies. A simple bespoke cake may begin from a lower bespoke starting point, while highly detailed private commissions often sit from around £500+. Large wedding cakes, event cakes and more technically demanding commissions may be higher.
Sugar flowers, sculptural work, complex structure, hand-piped detail, rare ingredients, portion requirements and delivery conditions all affect the final price. More notice gives more room for better design, better production planning and calmer delivery.
The pricing is closer to fine dining and specialist craft than off-the-shelf baking. You are commissioning time, judgement, ingredients, structure, flavour work and the hand of the maker.
A bespoke cake should taste as considered as it looks. Flavour balance, texture, freshness, portioning, seasonality, event atmosphere, guest expectations and ingredient quality all matter.
Reshmi Bennett’s Michelin-trained pastry background gives each commission a flavour-first foundation. The design is important, of course, but the cake still has to slice beautifully, eat properly and hold its place in the rhythm of the celebration.
This is why we think in terms of restaurant-level pastry as much as decoration.

Delivery is part of the craft. Bespoke cakes are fragile, often tall, detailed, temperature-sensitive and made for a precise moment. Timing matters. Handling matters. Venue access matters.
We do not treat a high-value celebration cake like a parcel. Across London and Surrey, Anges de Sucre uses its own delivery team where available, with tracking or delivery updates provided where applicable. Larger cakes may also require specific handling notes, access checks or careful arrival planning.

For birthdays where a standard design is not enough, a bespoke commission can be shaped around the person, the dinner, the room and the guest list. For ready-to-order designs, view our Birthday Cakes.

A bespoke wedding cake can be designed around flowers, venue styling, menu, guest count and the tone of the day. For our signature wedding range, view our Wedding Cakes.

For brand launches, press events, client dinners and fashion events, a bespoke cake can carry a visual idea without becoming loud, obvious or gimmicky.

For first birthdays, we can consider family gatherings, photography, children’s themes, soft palettes and practical portioning, while keeping the cake refined and beautifully made.
This section can later hold examples of recent bespoke cakes, including floral buttercream designs, sculptural celebration cakes, first birthday cakes, wedding commissions, corporate event cakes and private party centrepieces.
Each example should show the cake style, occasion and context clearly, with descriptive image captions and alt text that help people and search systems understand the work without stuffing the page with repetitive phrases.
A bespoke cake commission begins with a conversation. Tell us the date, occasion, delivery address, guest count, flavour preferences, visual references, budget range and venue details if they are relevant.
From there, we can understand whether the commission is the right fit, what level of work may be involved and how best to shape the cake around your celebration.
