Valrhona cocoa gives the sponge depth without making it heavy. The salted caramel ganache rounds the chocolate, while Swiss meringue buttercream keeps each layer smooth and balanced.

Double Chocolate Sponge: Flour (wheat, gluten), sugar, egg, milk, cocoa, sunflower oil, dark chocolate chips [(min cocoa 54.5%) sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, emulsifier: soya lecithin, natural vanilla], sodium bicarbonate (raising agent: E500), instant coffee granules, vanilla extract.

Buttercream: Sugar, egg white, butter (milk), vanilla extract, salt, cocoa.

Decorations:

Salted Caramel Ganache: White chocolate [(min cocoa 28%, min milk solids 23%), sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, cocoa mass, emulsifier (soya lecithin), natural vanilla], cream (milk), sugar, salt.

Fudge: Sugar, sweetened condensed skimmed milk (skimmed milk, sugar), glucose syrup, fondant (sugar, glucose syrup, water), coconut oil, stabiliser blend (carrier: dextrose, stabilisers: low methoxyl pectin and sodium alginate), natural flavouring.
