From the Anges de Sucre archive: This post originally announced our first StoryBake children's recipe book for World Book Day in 2022. The launch dates and pre-order language belong to that moment and are no longer current sales information.
Xavier and His Magical Blueberry Muffins was Reshmi's first StoryBake: a children's story written around a real blueberry-muffin recipe so that reading and baking could become one activity.

The idea came from baking at home with Xavier. Measuring, mixing and watching batter change in the oven were already interesting; turning the recipe into a rhyming bedtime story gave him a reason to understand the whole process rather than simply appear for the spoon-licking stage.

Reshmi wrote the recipe and rhyme, sketched the story, and worked with illustrator Irina to bring the pages to life. It became the starting point for the later Olivia and Bella StoryBakes.
The original free digital edition remains available on our site: Xavier and His Magical Blueberry Muffins.

Impressive Post, such a clear explanation without any confusion thanks for these lovely tips
I love your creativity! I’ve followed your page for a reallllly long time and have drooled over all of your cakes! This is such a ‘not been done before’ (I don’t think!!)
As much as I would absolutely buy a recipe book of yours, the idea of me being able to read this with my 6 year old son and bake along is fantastic. Now we can share our two loves in life- reading and baking! I really hope this is a great success of yours, I have no doubts!
Hi
Where do we purchase this book from as we cannot find it anywhere? We have tried Amazon, WH Smith.
