I'm so excited that weddings are finally back in full swing. Sure, summer graced us for about two days, but you hardly need blazing sunshine to celebrate love and romance. At least, I certainly don’t think so.

Most people would happily take rain over restrictions any day. And honestly, even lockdown weddings had their own charm. There’s something wonderfully heartfelt about saying, “I don’t care about the frills or the fuss—let’s just get married.” It’s almost like eloping, only with a shorter commute.

Here’s a gorgeous little two-tier macaron wedding cake we created for Svetlana and Victor. I adore the soft pink drip paired with buttercream blooms and those dainty pastel macarons. It’s classic freshly baked vanilla sponge inside, too. The design has been around for a decade, but just like love, good taste doesn’t go out of fashion.

This sweet little wedding cake went out to Slough. Our London-famous (and occasionally “world-famous”—stop it, you’re making me blush) cakes are available for delivery to Slough, Windsor and Ascot from just £10. Not too shabby for something that tastes like a happily-ever-after.

I’m keeping this one short and sweet because there are about two precious hours left of this unusually balmy September weekend. Enjoy every crumb of it!
