I'm so excited that weddings are finally back in full swing. Sure, summer graced us for about two days, but you hardly need blazing sunshine to celebrate love and romance. At least, I certainly don’t think so.
Most people would happily take rain over restrictions any day. And honestly, even lockdown weddings had their own charm. There’s something wonderfully heartfelt about saying, “I don’t care about the frills or the fuss—let’s just get married.” It’s almost like eloping, only with a shorter commute.
Here’s a gorgeous little two-tier macaron wedding cake we created for Svetlana and Victor. I adore the soft pink drip paired with buttercream blooms and those dainty pastel macarons. It’s classic freshly baked vanilla sponge inside, too. The design had already been around for years by then, but just like love, good taste doesn’t go out of fashion.
