This cake was inspired by my favourite Mario Kart character—Yoshi! I wanted to give Yoshi his very own cake, capturing the playful spirit of the Mario games. With a sugarpaste Yoshi, stars, mushrooms, and a mystery box, this cake is all about bringing the game to life in delicious form.

Serving: Bring the cake to room temperature before serving. Allow around three hours out of the fridge so the sponge softens and the buttercream becomes silky and aromatic.
