A meta unicorn rainbow cake of Madagascan vanilla sponge and vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream, built with five bright rainbow layers. The sponge is soft, light and clean in flavour, giving the colour its stage without losing the calmness of proper vanilla cake. Finished with a miniature rainbow cake, tiny cake slice, cupcake, mini cupcake and a hand-modelled fondant unicorn, it brings cake-in-cake theatre with a distinctly enchanted streak.

This cake is what happens when cake inception meets unicorn logic. I wanted it to feel magical, funny and a little over the top, but still polished enough to be Anges. The passed-out unicorn makes me laugh every time, mostly because it looks exactly how one should feel after too much rainbow cake.

Your cake is baked fresh for your chosen date and keeps beautifully for up to five days from delivery. Store it carefully, serve it at room temperature, and the sponge and buttercream will be at their best.
