Nutella Ferrero Rocher Cake

This was our original viral cake, and I can still see why: Nutella, Ferrero Rocher, Oreos, chocolate, amazing hazelnuts and cream are not shy ingredients. Ferrero Rocher always reminds me of those gold-foil boxes that turn up at Asian family gatherings and are received with genuine excitement, so I wanted this cake to have that same sense of being properly spoilt. It is built with Belgian chocolate sponge, Oreo cookies and cream sponge, vanilla sponge, Nutella Swiss meringue buttercream, chocolate ganache, crushed hazelnuts, Oreos, white chocolate pearls and Ferrero Rocher ice cream cones, giving every slice that lovely mix of soft sponge, roasted hazelnut, chocolate cream and crunch.

Vanilla Sponge: Wheat flour (gluten), eggs, milk, buttermilk (milk), sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract.

Chocolate Sponge: Flour (wheat, gluten), sugar, egg, milk, cocoa, sunflower oil, sodium bicarbonate (raising agent: E500), instant coffee granules, vanilla extract.

Oreo Sponge: Wheat flour (gluten), eggs, milk, buttermilk (milk), sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, Oreos [Wheat Flour, Sugar, Vegetable Oil (Palm), Fat Reduced Cocoa Powder 4.6 %, WheatStarch, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Salt, Raising Agents (Potassium Hydrogen Carbonate, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate, Ammonium Hydrogen Carbonate), Emulsifiers (Soya Lecithin, Sunflower Lecithin), Flavouring (Vanillin)].

Buttercream: Sugar, egg white, butter (milk), vanilla extract, salt, Nutella [Sugar, Palm Oil, Hazelnuts (13%), Skimmed Milk Powder (8.7%), Fat-Reduced Cocoa (7.4%), Emulsifier: Lecithins (Soya), Vanillin].

Decorations

Chocolate Ganache Drip: dark chocolate [(Min cocoa 54.5%) Sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, emulsifier; soya lecithin, natural vanilla], butter (milk).

Oreo Cookies: Wheat Flour, Sugar, Vegetable Oil (Palm), Fat Reduced Cocoa Powder 4.6 %, WheatStarch, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Salt, Raising Agents (Potassium Hydrogen Carbonate, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate, Ammonium Hydrogen Carbonate), Emulsifiers (Soya Lecithin, Sunflower Lecithin), Flavouring (Vanillin).

Ferrero Rochers: Milk Chocolate 30% [Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Mass, Skimmed Milk Powder, Concentrated Butter, Emulsifier: Lecithins (Soya), Vanillin), Hazelnuts (28.5%), Sugar, Palm Oil, Wheat Flour, Whey Powder (Milk), Fat-Reduced Cocoa, Emulsifier: Lecithins (Soya), Raising Agent (Sodium Bicarbonate), Salt, Vanillin.

Wafer Cones: Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Sugar, Vegetable Oils (Palm Kernel, Palm), Emulsifier: Soya Lecithins, Salt.

White Chocolate Crispearls: White Chocolate 85% (sugar, cocoa fat, dry whole milk, milk sugar, dry cream, whey, natural vanilla flavour), crisped cereals (wheat flour, sugar, wheat malt flour, wheatstarch, sodium bicarbonate added as raising agent, vegetable fat (soya, palm, rapeseed), salt, natural vanilla flavour), sugar, glucose syrup (wheat), modified potato starch.

Crushed Hazelnuts (nuts).

Our cakes are vegetarian and made in bakeries that handle wheat, gluten, eggs, milk and nuts. We do not offer vegan or gluten-free cakes. Standard delivery is by our own drivers within the London and Surrey areas we serve; further-afield delivery may be arranged in advance. Our bakeries are not customer collection points.
