Two layers of fluffy freshly baked heart-shaped sponge in blue or pink vanilla sponge, vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream, and a burn-away top layer to reveal the gender of your bun in the oven underneath.

It's all the rage on TikTok and Instagram. It's bang-on trend. It's high drama and fun. Since nobody really cares about the gender of your baby, any added drama around the news is very welcome at your baby shower or gender reveal party. Simply use a blow torch, lighter or matches to burn the centre of the top layer and watch the magic happen.

How to order

• LEAD TIME - one week. This cake is NOT available with any shorter notice. Please select a date no less than one week away on check-out. Once your order is placed, please email us the gender of the baby within one hour of placing the order in response to your confirmation email. If it's a big secret, we suggest nominating someone you know (and trust) to send us the gender on your behalf. Please cc them in your order confirmation email and nominate in writing as we are unable to take instruction related to any orders from anyone other than the customer without nomination in writing. They can then email us the gender and your secret is safe! Please note, any delays in sending across the information may result in delayed delivery of the cake.
• Personalise it further by adding a short message on a chocolate plaque.
• Select your preferred delivery date with a MINIMUM of one week's notice during checkout and you're all set.

Buttercream: Sugar, egg white, butter (milk), vanilla extract, salt.

Icing sheet: Modified starches (E1422, E1412), maltodextrin, glycerol, sugar, water, thickeners (E460i, E414, E415), dextrose, food colour (E171), emulsifiers (E435, E471, E491), preservative (E202), acidity regulator: citric acid (E330), artificial flavour, edible ink Black (Water, Humectant: E1520, E422, Colour: E151, E110, E102), edible ink Yellow (Water, Humectant: E1520, E422, Colour: E102, Acidity Regulator: E330), edible ink Magenta (Water, Humectant: E1520, E422, Colour: E122, Acidity Regulator: E330), edible ink Cyan (Water, Humectant: E1520, E422, Colour: E133, Acidity Regulator: E330).
