A salted caramel chocolate naked cake composed of Belgian chocolate sponge, sea-salted caramel Swiss meringue buttercream and chocolate glaze. The sponge is freshly baked, soft and cocoa-rich, layered with silky caramel buttercream for a smooth, lightly salted sweetness. Finished in a semi-naked style with a glossy chocolate drip, golden Oreos, Maltesers, Rolos, baked buttermilk doughnuts and salted caramel crisp pearls, it brings together dark chocolate, caramel, cream and crunch in a generous celebration cake.

Sweet and salty is one of those combinations that does not need much explaining, which is why I wanted this cake to feel a little more stripped back. The Belgian chocolate sponge brings softness and cocoa depth, while the sea-salted caramel Swiss meringue buttercream gives it that smooth, buttery sweetness with just enough salt to keep everything awake. Finished semi-naked with a chocolate drip, golden Oreos, Maltesers, Rolos, baked doughnuts and salted caramel crisp pearls, it has the comfort of chocolate and caramel with enough texture and gloss to feel properly celebratory.
