A funfetti piñata cake of Madagascan vanilla sponge, vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream and Smarties. The sponge is soft, light and flecked with rainbow sprinkles, with a hidden Smarties centre revealed when sliced. Finished with a miniature funfetti piñata cake, cupcakes, tiny cake slices, mini cupcakes, buttercream swirls and more Smarties, it turns classic vanilla cake into playful, layered theatre.

Your cake is baked to order in our London or Surrey bakery, then dispatched and hand-delivered by our own drivers. Standard routes cover the London and Surrey areas we serve; further-afield delivery may be arranged in advance.
Cake care
Keep the cake boxed and cool. If refrigerated, bring it to room temperature before serving for the best texture and flavour.

This cake is what happens when we ask a sensible idea to leave the room. Funfetti was already playful, but I wanted to push it into proper cake nonsense: surprise, scale, tiny details and the slightly ridiculous joy of a cake that refuses to behave like one cake. It is childish in the best possible way, which is sometimes exactly what a celebration needs.
Funfetti Sponge: Wheat flour (gluten), eggs, milk, buttermilk (milk), sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, jimmies [Sugar, Corn Starch, Hydrogenated Palm Oil, Dextrin, Soy Lecithin, Colours: E102, E110, E120, E129, E133, Glazing Agent: Shellac, Carnauba wax].
Buttercream: Sugar, egg white, butter (milk), vanilla extract, salt.
Decorations -
Sprinkles: jimmies [Sugar, Corn Starch, Hydrogenated Palm Oil, Dextrin, Soy Lecithin, Colours: E102, E110, E120, E129, E133, Glazing Agent: Shellac, Carnauba wax].
Smarties: Sugar, Skimmed Milk Powder, Cocoa Mass, Cocoa Butter, Wheat Flour, Butterfat (from Milk), Lactose and Proteins from Whey (from Milk), Rice Starch, Emulsifier (Lecithins), Colours (Beetroot Red, Carotene, Curcumin), Natural Flavouring, Spirulina Concentrate, Glazing Agents (Carnauba Wax, Beeswax White), Fruit and Vegetable Concentrates (Safflower, Radish), Barley Malt Extract.
*Although not necessarily present in this particular product, the colours used across our range of products may include the colours E102*, E104, E110, E122 & E129 - which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in some children.
All products are produced on premises handling eggs, gluten, nuts, peanuts, milk, sesame and soya hence may contain traces.
Please note cakes may contain cocktail sticks and dowelling for support.
Each cake is hand-made individually and carefully and while will look similar to the images, may not be identical.
Our cakes are vegetarian and made in bakeries that handle wheat, gluten, eggs, milk and nuts. We do not offer vegan or gluten-free cakes. Standard delivery is by our own drivers within the London and Surrey areas we serve; further-afield delivery may be arranged in advance. Our bakeries are not customer collection points.
