Buttercream Bloom cakes are some of the prettiest cakes I've ever made. And this one is one of them. Each flower is painstakingly, patiently, and wrist-achingly piped with love. 

A cake that's too pretty to cut. A cake that also tastes as good as it looks, if not better. Soft layers of sponge, smooth and silky sea-salted caramel buttercream - so so so moreish.

What makes this cake special is its picture perfection and the fact that all the flowers are 100% Swiss meringue buttercream. Not crusty sugarpaste, no metal wires lurking, and no threat of contamination from real flowers. They're not only gorgeous looking, but actually, for real, 100% edible and delicious.

This cake is perfect for birthdays, Mother's day, Valentine's Day, weddings and anniversaries, or any occasion where you want to wow your guests with something incredibly pretty.

Red Velvet - Wheat flour (gluten), eggs, milk, buttermilk (milk), sunflower and rapeseed oil, sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, colouring Red [Vegetable Glycerine E422, Mono Propylene Glycol E1520, Water, Ponceau 4R E124, Allura Red E129].
