Samurai Sencha Green Tea

This is definitely one of our best green teas. It is incredibly soft and very sweet for a sencha green tea. Surprising once brewed it retains much of its sweetness and offers little bitterness. It is grown at an altitude of 1640 feet on southeast facing hills. We import the leaves directly from Japan after its late harvest in May. The leaves used for this sencha produce low amino acids which reduces its bitterness and increases its sweetness. This Japanese green tea is extremely popular with many of our customers and makes an excellent sencha espresso.
180 ml of Boiling Water / 1 Cup
5 grams / 1 tbsp of Tea leaves
- Place leaves into teapot
- 90 degree water and pour into the teapot.
- Wait about 20-30 seconds.
- Pour into cup and enjoy
