Full-time Baker/Cake Decorator

We are a small, independent and dynamic high-end cake and pastry bakery looking for a full-time cake baker/decorator.
This job is a hands-on job in a small dynamic team, where you will be working closely with the head chef to produce our varied catalogue of baked items. Creativity is also a plus as our range expands constantly! Interested candidates must apply with a full CV and images of their work they are most proud of. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a short trial and interview.
Job Specifications
- Produce our high-end range of cakes, macarons, cookies etc to order
- Stock and inventory checks
- Observe HACCP and house-keeping procedures
- Work within small team to maintain high standards, production of orders
- Easily commute to and from production premises in TW8, London
Candidates must have the following:
- Previous relevant professional bakery/catering/cake decorating experience
- Positive attitude
- Ability to manage and work in a small team as well as on their own autonomously
- Experience in producing macarons, choux pastry, fondant modelling
- Right to work in the UK
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Able to work under pressure
Pay: £29,000
Type: Full-time
Hours: Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00 generally, but fluctuates according to business demands therefore flexibility is required.
