We don’t offer same-day delivery, or next-day delivery – for good reasons. All our cakes are made to order, so they’re totally fresh and delicious. We don’t have cakes hanging around waiting to be ordered as we’re a zero-waste bakery and don’t want to have to put any of our amazing baked goods in the bin.
Anges de Sucre offers a two-day lead time on our cakes. So order on Monday and receive your cake, fresh and to your door on Thursday. That’s the time frame we’re looking at, and we’re upfront and honest about that. Delivery to Twickenham takes place every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Our in-house driver will provide you with a delivery time on the day of your delivery. While our cakes keep fresh for five days, we recommend having your cake delivered no more than three days before your event.

Welcome to Twickenham, a vibrant riverside gem in Southwest London! Venture out and discover the bustling Isleworth to the north, where history and the Thames harmoniously converge. Head east to picturesque Richmond, with its lush parks and frolicking deer. To the south, you'll find charming Teddington, nestled where the Thames meets the locks, and the majestic Hampton Court Palace in delightful Hampton to the west. In the northeast, explore the enchanting Kew, home to a dazzling botanical wonderland, and to the southeast, the serene village atmosphere of riverside Barnes awaits.
Because we bake all our cakes to order, you can choose what you want in your cake. That includes flavour (check out our menu a bit further down this page), size and design.
Please note that we don’t offer gluten-free or Vegan cakes because we can’t guarantee cross contamination without opening an entirely separate bakery. Yikes!
We offer a huge range of flavours and styles of cake. We range from pistachio, to chocolate and vanilla to salted caramel. Basically you’re going to find a flavour that suits your palette.

Home to rugby, Twickenham has some of the best spots to have a fun birthday party or celebration. The pubs and restaurants around Twickenham stadium become extremely animated during match days. But there are plenty of stunning riverside pubs, and my favourite, restaurants on the pedestrianised Church Street to discover.
The Twickenham dining scene is more relaxed. Match days mean manic activity, so if you’re planning a romantic special occasion then perhaps choose a non-match day because even the posher places become loud. But if you’re going out as a group, then definitely don’t shy away from a match day - Twickenham comes alive!
Le Salon Prive - A classic French restaurant with a relaxed but refined atmosphere. They also have a private dining room which is great for milestone birthdays such as 40th, 50th or 60th, or other special occasions. They also offer some fabulous deals throughout the week.
A Cena - An upscale Italian restaurant that’s deceptively large. It’s great for family celebrations such as mum or dad’s birthdays.
Orpheus Taverna - Traditional Greek family-run restaurant with warm hospitality. You can also arrange a private celebration here.
Osteria Pulcinella - A long-standing restaurant on Church Street, a solid favourite for the locals, this Italian excels at hospitality. There are a few spaces for private functions and it is a safe choice for family celebrations.
Tsaretta Spice - My favourite restaurant in Twickenham. It’s a high-end modern Indian restaurant that also has a branch in Mirabel (yes, the ski resort town in France). The location is delightful, just at the end of Church Street.
Twickenham’s pub scene is seriously good. During the rugby games it’s especially boisterous. If that’s your kind of scene, then perfect. If not, then I’d suggest booking for non-match days.
The White Swan - This 17th century beautiful pub is everything you’d want in a traditional English pub. Fireplace, exposed brickwork, stripped floors, a veranda. Oh, and it’s right on the river. It is a tiny pub so book well in advance.
The Crown - The food here is exceptional pub fare. It’s smartly decorated with a beer garden, and a restaurant and private dining room available for birthdays, engagement parties or relaxed and intimate wedding receptions.
The Turks Head - This is a gorgeous Fullers pub with consistent high standard pub grub. Priding itself as a true family-friendly pub, It has a small children's play area to prove it. There is a large function room too for exclusive use for birthdays. We’ll bring the cake!
Twickenham is one of the best places to have a wedding. Why? Because most venues are by the river with beautiful gardens and tend to be buildings with history. Not a cold conference room.
York House - A stately manor house that’s a ceremony and reception venue with gardens stretching to the river Thames.
Strawberry Hill House - This historic castle is full of gothic features. The interiors are bright and ornate with intricate gold gilding. Our Regency wedding cake fits right into the surroundings.
Alexander Pope -This smart and stylish boutique hotel is ideal for urban couples who want just a touch of rustic-countryside appeal.
Twickenham Stadium - For rugby fans, we can’t think of a better place as a wedding venue. It’s fully licensed so you can actually have your ceremony, take unique wedding photos on the pitch, have your bespoke wedding cake with a rugby ball cake topper if you wish, sit down for your meal, and dance the night away.
Cole Court Centre - A freemasons lodge house that’s open for hosting events and weddings by non members. The temple inside is particularly notable as a ceremony backdrop. And the garden takes you by surprise.
Marble Hill House - This beautiful villa built in the 1700s in 66 acres of green space by the river is another ideal location to host a wedding and reception.
ETNA Centre - A local community centre that has a bright hall perfect for children's parties. We could fit in a bouncy castle and a ball pit hired from Bounce Party for the little ones to enjoy. There is also an enclosed outdoor garden space for when the sun is shining.
Cheeky Chops Play Cafe - Ideal for parties for 1-5 year olds. This play cafe offers 90 minute slots with the option of adding on simple sandwiches.
Colliers Launches - What’s the best kind of party? A BOAT PARTY! This company offers boats for all kinds of parties, including childrens parties and can help with themes such as pirate themed - our Treasure Island Cake is PERFECT for that.
Have a walk along the river, stroll up and browse the independent shops of Church Street, or pop into any of the beautiful pubs along the river.
There isn’t much going on in the bar and lounge scene in Twickenham. There is the obvious Be at One, which whilst is popular, it’s like any of their other venues. The other is The Shack 68 which has a lively atmosphere offering a basic cocktail menu. You’re better off popping over to Richmond for a good cocktail bar.
If you have any questions or there is an issue with your order, or you would like to make an amendment, no problem at all. Simply get in touch with us here with your order number.
