We don’t offer same-day delivery, or next-day delivery – for good reasons. All our cakes are made to order, so they’re totally fresh and delicious. We don’t have cakes hanging around waiting to be ordered as we’re a zero-waste bakery and don’t want to have to put any of our amazing baked goods in the bin.
Anges de Sucre offers a two-day lead time on our cakes. So order on Monday and receive your cake, fresh and to your door on Thursday. That’s the time frame we’re looking at, and we’re upfront and honest about that. Delivery to Guildford takes place every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Our in-house driver will provide you with a delivery time on the day of your delivery. While our cakes keep fresh for five days, we recommend having your cake delivered no more than three days before your event.

Unfortunately, we do not offer a timed delivery service within Guildford as standard. We recommend having your cake delivered the day before (it will keep very well) or getting in touch about our priority service.

We stumbled upon the Forge on the Green while visiting the Red Lion pub next door and what a find it was. It’s a beautiful venue just recently opened by two lovely women Osha and Coco. There is fantastic attention to detail, from the fresh rosemary springs on your table to the beautiful upholstery. Their dedication has achieved a stunning venue with delicious food (the bacon from Brook farm a short drive away is to die for). It’s perfect for any kind of celebration with beautiful beams and is available to rent in the evenings for parties over 8. It’s closed on Thursdays while it’s used to teach children with learn disabilities baking. Truly inspirational.
Kingshams in Shere is ideal celebration venue if you are looking for something very special. Be SURE to book. We rocked up on a random Tuesday afternoon and they got the last table. And I don't think it's because Jude law and Cameron Diaz ate here whilst filming for the Holiday. It's because the food, ambience and venue are all excellent - I wanna go to back already. It's easy to get to and there is parking round the back, it’s surrounded by farmland, there is a designated country walk opposite...it's all fabulous. When I visited I had the red mullet with burnt aubergine purée, red pepper and chickpea salsa - it was most the beautiful combination of favours. If you bring cake with you here, the chef will find it terribly rude if you don't' have a dessert first!
Over looking Shamley Green, the Red Lion offers a tranquil setting a short journey from Guildford town centre. It’s a elegant country pub with open wood burning fires, wooden beams and a menu that focuses on local ingredients and traditional British pub grub. For birthday parties and events, there is function room for 10-40 guests.
It’s quite unusual to find a boutique pub in a town centre, but in Guildford you have the March Hare. It’s quirky and colourful with an almost boutique hotel feel. The menus change with the seasons - at the time of writing it is influenced by French, Moroccan, Indian and British cuisines; there is something for everyone. It’s an ideal venue for a birthday celebration or small gathering for those looking for somewhere centrally located to Guildford town.
Just a short walk from the town centre lies a gorgeous riverside pub, the Weyside that is perfect for birthday celebrations. There is the boathouse for smaller celebrations and the Barn for larger parties. The décor is modern British as is the food. They also offer a range of platters which makes life very easy – the mini burgers with blue cheese are delightful! A perfect compliment to a slice of cake!
We have only visited very briefly but have heard it offers good value wedding packages and has a beautiful outdoors space.
Not too far from Guildford City centre is Gate Street. There is a stunning barn very much worth considering as a wedding venue.
A naturally beautiful wedding venue for one of our wedding cakes! If you love beems beems and more beems (like I do) this is the place for you. Beautiful barns and manicured lawns with the Surrey Hills in the background. We’ve been told the service is friendly and the bride and groom accommodation is “absolutely lovely.”
