I'm in awe of our prime position as London's number 1 choice for birthday cakes. The Evening Standard, Vogue, TimeOut, Handbook have all named Anges de Sucre as one of the best bakeries in London, but now even CN Traveller has hailed us as one of the best birthday cake makers in the city!

As a small business, these titles and accolades are BIG. Actually, as a business of any size, they're a big deal. To hold onto these titles for such a long time, year after year, is also not something we will ever take for granted as we continue to improve our product offering and service for our customers.

I'm not just saying that because our customers like to hear it. Neither am I of the belief that since we are known as the best bakery in London making the best birthday cakes, our job's done. We actually actively focus on improving. For example, we now offer birthday cake delivery to Slough at very low cost. Our cakes are carefully hand-delivered by our in-house driver, who texts an ETA on the morning of the delivery to the recipient's mobile number. No more waiting around all day for delicious cake!

We delivered this gorgeous two-tiered Chocolate Malt Milkshake cake for Gopi and Jasdeep's joint birthday celebration in Slough, all the way from our London bakery.

The two tiers are made with our super delicious and rich Belgian chocolate sponge layers, and frosted with smooth and silky chocolate-malt Swiss meringue buttercream.

Our buttercream is out of this world with it's mousse-like texture and light mouth-feel. It's also not as sweet as normal buttercream as the Swiss meringue buttercream recipe calls for less sugar.
