We're a bit partial to duck egg blue (perhaps evident from the various ducky eggy tones all over our website, branding, packaging, and bits and bobs). I cannot physically restrain myself from anything in that shade so imagine my delight when I saw our baby pink blossom macarons arranged with the Anges fave blue, moss green and cream in a muted summery pastel palette for Brides Magazine's May June 2013 Big Day Look Book!
Our hand-crafted edible sugar blossom flowers in dusky shimmery pinks complements Cakes by Krishanthi's statuesque 7 tier floral explosion so beautifully
The styling of the shoot plays in between laid-back summer casual and refined romance. And it plays it so very well. Mis-matched flow-ey bridesmaids dresses and fluffy florals (check out that arch! Whoa!) in dusky pastel tones add to the airy appeal and makes it grown-up girly. Even the hand-made sugar blossoms on our otherwise plain-and-pretty baby pink macarons raises them to more chic-ey and less chick-ey.
We are so very proud of our feature in this bountifully beautiful issue. If you'd like to embellish your wedding or birthday, or indeed any other fabulous event's macarons with edible blossoms, hydrangeas, daisies, or any other similarly pretty bloom in any colour, and raise them to statement confection perfection status, drop us a line at info [at] angesdesucre [dot] com now! Oh what fun is to be had!
Sweet summer love,
